Cub Scout Camping

Cub Scout Camping.

As stated in the Guide to Safe Scouting and according to BSA policy, Cub Scout Packs are limited to two Pack Family Campouts per year. Those pack family campouts must be at Longhorn Council approved campsites. For a list of those campsites visit longhorncouncil.org or contact your Trailblazer District Camping Chair, Tom Osen at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a more in-depth list. This, however, does not include district or council events. Cub Scouts and their families can attend as many district or council camping events that they wish too. Webelos Scout dens may camp more often, but at Council approved sites or with a Boy Scout Troop by invitation. Scouting is about getting out in the great outdoors!

So together, let's put the outing in Scouting! Camp as often as you can!
