The Trailblazer District camporee is coming up fast. This year we are going to be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America being chartered. Be prepared for a great program. The campout will take place at Worth Ranch. Stay tuned to find out more about the upcoming event. |

We have a couple of old / new merit badges coming out for 2010 in celebration of the 100th year of scouting.
They are the throw backs from the beginnings of scouting.
Pathfinding
Carpentry
Tracking
Signaling
These will only be available during 2010. If the boy doesn't complete them before the end of the year he will not be able to receive them.. |

2010 is almost upon us and it will be time to renew your commitment to the scouting program after the holiday season. Let us strive to make the program a better one filled with glorious things for the youth to participate in. Let each of us work towards becoming better leaders by exchanging ideas and thoughts at district events.
And finally I wish everyone in the Trailblazer district a wonderful new year. May this years wonders and experiences ignite your passion for scouting. |

This question-and-answer document is provided to support communication regarding the decision made by the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Board to increase the traditional membership registration fee for all youth and adults to $15 from its current $10 effective January 1, 2010.
